Transitions

1.       CUT-IN, CUTAWAY

-          In my sequence, I want to use either a cut-in or cut-away transition, especially in the section where the woman is debating on whether to betray the boyfriend or not. I plan to have a zoomed in shot of the laptop with the images on and then cut away to a shot of her staring at it to portray her uncertainty and thoughts.

2.       JUMP CUT

-          In my sequence, I want to use lots of jump cuts as transitions between my shots to add a sense of time being condensed. I want to show how easily social media/modern technology can badly affect our lives and how this sequence of events can and is happening in many different situations.

3.       ESTABLISHING SHOT

-          In my sequence, I want to add an establishing shot for the street section and the park section to set up the scene and to emphasise a sense of isolation when he is being attacked online.
